i am about to get a sony xplod 1000w amp that is 200 @ 2 ohms,and 165 @ 4 ohms,and 400 @ 4 ohms bridged.The sony xplod is only 109.99,i dont know if my subs are 2 ohm, or 4 ohm and i dont know how to find out this is my first time with a system in my car and i could use all the help in the world, thanks alot |

what kind of subs do you have and i spend more money on the amp thats a big part of your system |

it should say on the back of your JL's i've got jl 8's and it says on the back. or the model off the back of the sub and then look it up online. I would go with a jl audio 500/1. they are a bit more expensive but its worth it. |

damn i already sent the money in for the sony xplod,i saw a punch 500a2 online and i heard the old school punch bang it was only like 300 but it was used |
