I am considering purchasing 2 ROCKFORD FOSGATE PUNCH P1 12" SUBWOOFERS IN MONTEGO DESIGNS BPC-360 ENCLOSURE AND SOUND STORM LABS F2800 MOSFET 1600W 2-CH AMPLIFIER. I just want some input on this. |

can i connect 3 10" subs to a 2 channel amp??? i have a 2-channel rockford fosgate amplifier #p5002 and 3 10" p2 fosgate subs in a box.if i could, how can i do it??? |

I currently have a Magnum Dual 12" Loaded Enclosure/Magna Bass Amplifier Combo installed. I am looking for something with more power. |

here lets say you want 2 12's or maybe 1 15.............and I assume u dont want to buy electrical upgrades so I will leave out the power hungry stuff.
2 12" ascendant audio assasins if they are still available(www.ascendantaudio.com) approx 220 shipped
or 2 12" fi X subs which are like 119 shipped a piece I think so 240 (www.ficaraudio.com)
the assasins are single 4ohm voice coil so you need an amp that does 700-800@2 ohms(kicker zx750.1) about $210
and the fi X are dual 4 and require 300rms a piece so you would need an amp to do 600-800 @1ohm (phoenix gold xenon 600.1) 200-240
or a hifonics bxi1206D about 220 also
as for the single 15 which would be nice would be a fi SSD (same company as the fi X and the ssd requires 800 watts rms so you can get it in either dual 1ohm or dual 2ohm so I would get dual1 and run it to a 2ohm load and get the kicker zx750.1 which really puts out like 900 watts. oh and the subwoofer cost like 239 bucks |
