generally refurbished is new internals in an old case

however kenwoods suck so dont buy one. whats youre budget and power needs?

save more if you can, you get what you pay for in car audio. I would buy a good used amp over a cheap refurbed amp.

yeah I have a x400.1 that I got for 95 shipped from a guy on caraudio.com and it is the sweetest 95 ive ever spent. I would have payed 130 for it no problem. Im sure you can find one for around that price, just look around.

Refurbished amps are great if you want to get something better than used and save money while doing it. Just keep in mind that nothing beat's BRAND NEW!

I have a orion hcca 259g4 it does
stereo
50x2@ 4 ohms
100x2@ 2ohms
200 x 2 @ 1 ohm and 400x2 @ 1 ohm

Mono it does 200 x 1 @ 4 ohms
400x1 @ 2ohms
800x1 @ 1 ohm

all at 12 volts. This is a highly underrated class a/b competition amp.
