Okay, I want to put in a video unit for the frequent long trips we take - my wife would really enjoy having something to watch while we drive. So far, I'm looking at these units:

Dual XDVD8182 (the 8181 doesn't do Dolby Digital, plus the 8182 is only like $60 more)
Clarion VRX765VD

I really don't want to spend more than $500 on the actual unit, so the Clarion is pushing it at $550. Right now I'm really leaning toward the Dual. I've read some reports on here that it doesn't have the best SQ, but honestly that's okay. My 323i has the factory speakers, and I don't plan on upgrading speakers or installing an amp, anyway. So, a higher quality head unit would really just be a waste of money, correct?

Anyone installed video in their E46 3-series? Is there anything I need to keep in mind? Crutchfield *says* both of those units would fit in my car, but who knows if they're right.

Thanks in advance.
