Hi i am trying to install subs in my truck and am trying to figure out the sub output setup on my headunit. I have the Jensen VM 9021ts and it has the single RCA output. Most of the other decks that i have seen have two RCAs for the sub out put. So im just trying to figure out how i would go about hooking that up. Thanks in advance for your help. |

It's a mono out. If you want to (simulate) stereo output you can buy a Y cable to split the one out to the two on your amp or to facilitate whatever setup you plan on using. Bass is nondirectional (you can't locate where it is coming from) under 100hz or so anyways. |

Depends on your amp. Some amps include a "mono/stereo" switch on the ins. Alot of amps designate the left input as mono, and either label it as such, or don't. Other amps may have a summing circuit on the inputs, and then there are some that probably won't like only one input at all. |
