Alright so I have an Alpine 9856. I installed it myself last January. When I installed it I hooked up all the wires with electrical tape. Well 2 nights ago I was at a buddys house and he had a set of Inifinity 6.1s laying around that we decieded to install. Doing so we switched RCAs in the baack of the head and the electircal tape slipped off and wires were exposed. The head unit wouldnt turn on so I just put it all back and decided to work on it this morning. My thing is I have checked wires and made sure all are connected accordingly and connected them with those wire connectors where you slide the stripped wires in and then twist the cap. Now it still isnt turning on and I was wanting to know what to look for? ANy help at all is apreciated.

need to see if your getting power at the constant and switched wires, use a test light, or see if you blew the fuse in the fuse panel.

fuse cannstill be blown and not able to be seen, you really need a test light or something to test them, they should have power on 2 sides of the fuse.

did you use a test light on all the fuses, it really sounds like a fuse issue, due to the switched power is not working
