I have a Ford Explorer ('01 2-Door) in which i am completely overhauling the A/V system. I've already aquired my drivers with the proper amp, and I'm now looking into obtaining the mids and highs aspect. Personally, I favor the Boston Acoustics SL series, in particular the sl80s. How well will 2 pairs (1 Front, 1 Back) match up with a pair of Eclipse 12" Ti's (950w x2 @2 Ohms)? I'm not sure about the amp for the B.A.'s (suggestions please), but let's say i'm using a GT-40. Any questions, comments, suggestions, or opinions welcome. (Note: While I did decide to go more the SPL route with Eclipse Ti's and whatnot, My PERSONAL goal leans more towards SQ.) |
