need to replace rear speakers in son's 15 yr old car. don't want to spend a ton of $ redoing entire system. currently infinity 5002i reference in front and back doors, with pioneer DEH P2600 tuner, 50x4 watts. son wants more bass but current system sounds fine until rear speaker broke due to kids' screwing around, did not "blow".
will spend up to about $175: should I just put in new infinity speakers? thanks for whatever you advise.

well unless you just replace what you had. you might be better off putting in just a 10 inch subwoofer. Its no overwhelming bass or anything. But it adds that bass that u wont find in door speakers. If you really wanted to u could remove the rears. sell them and put that money(if you make any) towards a smaller amp and sub. I dont mind having door speakers. But having a subwoofer makes a world of difference imo.
