it's a powerful amp. The quality is not the greatest and the model is overrated, but i think it comes with a 160A fuse. What are you planning to push jack?? |

Well I had an Orion 2500d and was using it to push a RE 15" SX in a ported box. It sounded fantastic, but I had the amp stolen, and put in an Audiobahn 8000t that a friend let me use, and it sounds like crap with that amp. It's like it's hitting it ok, but the sound is real ill sounding. So need to get another amp, but don't want to make a mistake. I would rather not spend another $500 to do it if possible. Thanks |

"You think I need that much to run that 1 sub?" No, but the 2500D was even more powerful. and the 8000T SHOULD have sounded like crap, you were either stressing it at 1 ohm, or way underpowering your sub at 4. I think the pca1000D or 1500D would be more than enough, the spl 2400D would work well too. |

Opti, I think it was me that you were talking about, with the a3000db. I seen your post in another thread about the PA DB line. How you wont be impressed by the name but by the power. 100% true. Have you ever benched any of the DB line. On caraudio forums they talk about it alot. And they say it is a very decent amp. From what I have read (believe me I have tried to find out as much as possible about my amp) They do not do too much less than their rated power. |

termpro.com does a lot of power tests, and from what I've seen the A3000db is right around 2kw. |

Opti, Thanks. The reason I had that Orion amp hooked up in the first place was that I got a good deal on it, and was going to run a differnt config with it. All that aside, the sub I have is wired for a 2 ohm load, so that Audibahn would run it, but not very well. So you think that SPL would be as good as the SS? Thanks |
