I have 2 kicker cvr's and a kenwood kac 8101d amp. The subs are wired at 2 ohms, they sound pretty good but dont seem like there at there potential at all. One of my buddies has 2 CVRs with a nice kicker amp and they are 10 times louder than my subs. I tried wiring them down to .5 ohm but they sound distorted and only hit lower notes. I want to know what a good amp would be to push these subs better. Also I have a cheap $99 JVC HU could this be a part of the problem? |

since the sub are wires down to 2 ohms, meaning you have 2 dual 2 ohm subs, i would get the kicker zx750.1 |
