ok i have a grand am and i need some new speakers to replace the ones in the back. they are 6x9's and i need to know if can hook some good ones up without putting in another amplifier. if anyone can help i would appreciate it. thanks |

What year is the GA? And does it have the Monsoon system with the stock amp? For more Grand Am info I'd reccomend checking out the Grand Am Owners Club Forum. Check their audio section under modifications, lots of great info there.
As far as a basic answer to your question, as long as you don't have the Monsoon system any 6x9s should work just fine for you, but I think you'll find it's often not worth it to spend a ton of money on the rear speakers depending on the rest of your setup and your budget, which is what by the way? |

well i have 2 Q's that are gonin to be powered by a kicker 2500.1, a 200 amp alt, and the big 3, i plan on getting kinetik battery before i put everything in. |
