I currently have the Focal K2P component set in my car, which is a 2001 330ci, they are being powered by a JL 300/4 amp. I want to upgrade to something better, but what?? I listen to a lot of trance so detail is what I am looking for. Price range is under $2,000. |

I'm assuming you have the 6.5" set of K2P's, and that you wanna stick with a 2 way set?

Also another question, say I was to keep the K2P's would going with a Zapco or Audison 2channel amp make them sound any different than they do now running off the JL 300/4? |

if the new amp is more powerful, and the speakers can make use of that power -- maybe. Otherwise, no. |

ebn though those amps are clealy better and put out more power i cant see a noticable difference in the way the speakers sound. mabe a little bit but only because of the extra power. |
