I have to keep trying up to 40 times before my CDs are accepted.Then it is good for the rest of the day.The next day the same thing happens.The car doesn't have to be moving.Sometimes a bang with the hand seems to get it working quicker.
I think the CD is covered on the car insurance but I wonder what exactly the problem is.Would the country roads be the cause?

its a 4500 RDS E.O.N and it sits in my Ford Fiesta.
There is a Radio with it and there are controls also on the steering wheel but I think they just affect the radio (as well as the volume)
When it works it seems fine but when it starts to skip it seems like it gets a seizure-but that is only to be expected I suppose.The real problem is the refusal to even start.
If I persist in reloading it eventually starts but today I gave it a knock eventually and I think that is what may have got it to go (I must have travelled about 8 miles by then)
