Need a wiring diagram / color code for the speakers in my '93 Ford Ranger. I've tried to validate the continuity with my VOM but can't seem to find any success. Is there something else in the path that I'm not aware of?

Jennifer,
Thanks for the link but I'm still confused. The audio wiring in the truck has 8 wires inside a blue insulator. The actual connector was cut off by the previous owner so I'm flying a little blind :-(

I have two problems:
1 - The wire colors do not match the various diagrams I've seen (including the one you posted).
2 - I've tried to buzz them out with a VOM and can't find that any of them go to any of the speakers.
3 - I also tried to buzz them out from + to - and can't find any continuity there either. Because they simply go through a coil of wire in the speaker there should be DC continuity....??

Don't know if this plays into it or not but the truck came with "Premium" audio.....does that mean there's an amplifier stuck under the dash somewhere?

It's a 93 Ranger STX......
