Need speakers for my 2000 crown victoria police cruiser. Pretty sure the car takes 6 1/2's. I'd like to stay around 50 bucks a pair. Not sure how much of this matters, but they will be working with the following:
-Alpine CDE 7858 Head Unit (45x4 amp)
-2 12" Ascendant Audio Assassin woofers
-Kicker zx750 amp (for the subs)

Look into CDT coaxial speakers. Talk to alteraudio about them. He is a CDT dealer and will give you a nice speaker at a good price. |

50$ a speaker is cutting it really close unfortunately. If you want to make 6.5 work CDT does have options, even 6.x9, but no 6x8 speaker size. You can fit a 5.25 in it though. |
