i hooked up my component. The tweeters sound really good but the sub sounds really bad. I don't think its blown since it looks practically new. I'm getting this really muddy sounds coming from it. Could it be my amp?? or is there something wrong with the driver.

Well, it could be anything.
I suggest you take your car and have it looked at by proffesional installers. They should not charge you anything.
