What is the best Alpine HU that does not have a motorized face, plays mp3/wma, 4 volt pre outs, and one can still get like new and not beat up on the internet, and is great for sound quality. Had an old cde 7859 that i loved but traded in my car a couple of months ago and wife talked me out of taking it out. Damn big mistake. |

It's hard to say which is the best...everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I have been using the 9831 for over a year now and have had zero problems out of it. It does have the motorized face plate, but its features are very good for the everyday driver. It does play the mp3/wma tracks very well and clear. There are 4v pre outs and if you have a v12 mono amp, you can wire it to the HU and control the amp from it. All in all it has been an excellent unit and can be had on Ebay for as little as $150.00. Hope this helps. |
