I just got a Kenwood ddx 6029 and a kn520 sat nav, i have the screen working but the satnav isn't, i havent connected the speed monitoring wire because i dont know where to connect it to, could this be the reason the sat nav isnt working? Does it need the wire connected for it to work?

Any help would be much appreciated
