sup guys not really familiar with all this so i was jus wondering.......i wanna get a 1000 watt amp from HIFONICS which model should i get for these two 600 watt 12'' subs? bx1606, think thats the model number. but it also depends on the vc of the subs. |

voice coil of the subs, are they dual vc 4ohm, dual vc 2ohm, single 4ohm, etc. |

how would i find out that out? these speakers were hand me downs and they seem to have no origin........wat brand of amp u think would be best? |

well, we need to know the VC configurastion and the ohm load per coil. so... so you need to do some research on google, and find what EXACT they are. |

i can't find nothing either. but have you looked at the bottom of the sub? i see from you're pics the sub model # and from looking at it it looks like each sub is 600w peak. do you know what the previous owner had running them? my guess is there about 150-300wrms each, don't know about the vc. |

is there 2 or 4 places to put wire on it? Do you have a Multi meter? set it to Ohms and read the coil. |

so its probley a 4 ohm sub. Get an amp that does ~500- 600 at 2 ohms. Then be carful setting the gain till its clear, non clipping. |

if you want to play it safe you could buy my pg xenon 400.1. puts out 400wrms from 1-4ohm, each sub would see 200wrms. |

damn im so confused im thinkin of prolly jus buying some new speakers........but if i was to go with my speakers the best amount of wattage for an amp would be around 400? i jus want alot of powerful bass |
