ok i just got a Pioneer AVIC-N2 today and the guy said it don't have the brain....and i was just wandering if the CD player and the DVD will work without the Brain?? cuz i don't wanna hook it up and it not work PLUS the guy said the guy that had it befor said some thing about the powers suply and i was wandering if that would make it not work either?

The brain is a part of the radio so I would say yes u do need it if u want the full potient of the radio. U can find a brain on ebay for less then 100 bucks. Good luck
