Hi

Im hoping this is a simple problem, basically my friend has just bought an MX-3, and the car is fitted with the Concept 300, but it also has a proximity sensor, basically, if you get too close to the car, such as look in the window, the alarm will 'chirp' to warn you.

The problem is, this 'chirp' constantly goes off when it rains!!! which is fun for the neighbours!!!

Is this just a matter of the sensor being too sensitive? if so, is this easy to adjust? I notice there is a box with a long wire coming out of it on the top left of the front windowscreen, is this it?

I have the owners manual, but it doesn't mention this proximity sensor, or how to adjust sensors.

Im a newbie to alarms, so as much advise as poss would be great.

Thanks in advance guys.

Gav
