I recently broke my alpine remote, i believe i have a replacement .... the exterior case is the same but the rom chip is different.

I've called several car alarm stores and when they heard it's alpine, they have no clue on how to program it. (is it that difficult?)

So are all alpine programmed the same way? If so how did you program yours? if there is no hope, im going to move on.

I have an alpine 8070, i believe im looking for a service manual instead of an owner's manual?

Any help would be great
