Im installing this cd player in my girlfriends car, i got her stock radio out, 1996 ford taurus and their are two plug ins for that radio and one for the apline so im assuming do i just cut the wires to those two plug ins and start splicing wires and match up by the colors? thanks

NO!!!

Get the proper wiring harness adaptor at your local walmart/circuit city/best buy/ultimate electronics or anyother store that carries car audio and video.. don't cut the harnesses unless you have to!

At walmart the harness adaptor runs less than 8 dollars..

you can not get that at walmart, that is the football looking kit with ac controls and relocation harness. get it off ebay....

woops.. you can,however, get those kits at the other stores I've listed.. not cheap, though.. and usually special order but sometimes in stock.

i have the faceplate with the heater controls, ect. i just need to find a wireing harness now

that comes only with the kit you buy, it is a relocation harness...
