Hi. I have a 1998 Honda CRV and am connecting a remote car starter. I connected all the wires but when I press the remote button to start the car it will not. On hondas you need to press the clutch pedal down in order to start the vechile. How can I bypass this in order to start the vechile with the remote starter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I figured it out. On the clutch pedal there are two sensors. The first one witch is visible is connected to the cruise control and when this switch is engaged the cruise control is deactivated. The second switch which is farther up the clutch pedal arm (only can see it is if you really get underneath the pedals of remove the fuse box) is the switch that needs to be activated in order to start your car. I had to wire the remote starter to this switch in order to get the starter to work. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
