SPL meaning decibles? SPL meaning gauge air pressure? SPL meaning how long it will take your ears to bleed?

Somewhere in the subwoofer section theres a rough guide to calculating decibles, but its rough at best... whatever it is, its going to sound nice, loud or quiet.. mucho pricey, but its going to sound very clear

SPL as in sound pressure level.
how many decibels in a controlled environment, with a c-weighted curve and pink noise, at the dash with an RTA.

no way to tell.
get it metered.
niec setup though

how many people measure SPL is pascals, or Torr? ;)

Whenever people ask for spl, i always just assume they mean dbs (measured from dash or 30ft from the car, because no one parks their face 6" from the box)

dbs are misleading too, which is why i like the ear bleeding test for spl..

if(earsBleeding)
{
system = good;
}
else
{
fail;
}

But seriously, as far as "is it good" goes, you tell me! Its YOUR system, why would you give a rat's behind what other people think about it?

you can ALWAYS spend more and more money on more and more parts...
