Guys, what does that mean? "Pre-Amp (no power)"? Does that mean that the head unit is messed up?

possibly, where are you reading that from?? ebay auction??

could mean that the Pre Out is fried or that you can't "power" anything directly with the Pre Out, meaning you need an amplifier too.

I think what GOGOMAN means is
Pre-amp/No Power .. it means that it has no internal amplifier and that you will need external amplifiers to reproduce sound in your car using that head unit.
