i have a 70's model car and on this peticular car you had to order a radio from the factory and the origonal owner didnt does anyone know if it is possible to wire up a cd player in it or not

well, find a spot you want to put the radio. then run the following wires:
Constant 12+ from the battery, 10A fused (yellow)
Switched ACC 12+ from the Fuse box (red)
Ground (black)
speaker wire from each speaker to the unit, make sure you mark these to keep them seperated.
antenna plug from your antenna to the unit.

colors are just what thoes particular wires typically are. speaker wire colors vary from car to car and in your case, not important since they aren't there at all.

if running external amplifiers for your speakers, then speaker wires aren't necessary for the back of the unit. just run them from the amp, into their crossover blocks (if they are component seperates) then to the drivers.

you'll need RCA's and a Remote wire from the back of the unit as well if running external amplifiers.
