guess this question been asked before but i couldnt find a clear answer can i install a after market cdplayer without buying that 100$ bypass module???? I dont need any onstar controls |

Your car came with a CD player, why would you need another or are you asking if you can install an aftermarket Head unit? The answer is yes, the Onstar can be removed, just unplug it and remove. Polo.. |

its never impossible to install an aftermarket HU. it can just sometimes get involved in the wireing process. you'll have to look at the wireing and seperate the onstar stuff and only hook up whats necessary for the HU. sometimes a custom dask kit may have to be made too. |
