so i have a sony xpold 1200 watt MAXX power amp.....but it runns 200rms per channel.....now im lookin for some components for my rear speakers...but what components should i get? like i guess i need something at 200watts rms correct? im not positive the size but i THINK im lookin at 5 1/2 inchs....lookin to spend about 100ish - 150ish...whats my best bet.. 1997 Nissan Altima |

First of all get rid of that amp, Sony amps are some of the worst out there. Secondly, components are usually used for front speakers and coaxials for rear, that is if rear speakers are to be used at all. Putting components in the rear would be a waste of money because you would barely hear them, and they can even interfere with the sound of your front speakers. Love the thread title, its so true. (for me atleast). Ms So if he put components in front and powered them, could he just leave the rear speaker in and not amp them? |
