ok i am wanting to replace my speakers i havea set of 6x9's in the front doors and a set of 6 1/2 in the rear doors and a set of tweeters in the pillar everything is factory now and i want nice mids with cleean bass and some bad as s highs so do i need to sets of tweeters or just the ones in the front i am using a pioneer head unit.

i'd just run some 6.5 inch components. put the tweeters up where the factory ones are now if you like them there. don't worry about rears unless you carry around a lot of passengers and care if they hear music or not, lol.

how much were you looking to spend??
how do you plan on powering the new speakers??
if you decide to externally amplify them, then components would be nice, if not then coaxials will be best.

yeah, and i always love it when someone says money isn't an issue, then of course everyone says "Rainbow Reference for $10K"....then of course, a tiny budget comes into play.

i dont want to pay more than 200 one the set and about 200 for the 6x9's i dont want to kill my self but i want to have a nice setup that sounds good
