Noticed that a few people were chasing the Update to enable the IVA-D310 for multiregional dvds please see the list below of what is available. We are interested in purchasing any of the IVA system dead or alive Thanks you can email me here at evo355@bigpond.com It is a simple install just load the disc and a couple of magic buttons later and it loaded, please not that you can only use the disc once as it is a read once only disc, just to protect our IP etc. Plus if it is attempted to be copied it will not function as it will alter the information needed on the disc and will render you head unit useless, and they you will need to send it to us for the fix. SO you are warned, if you think that you can copy and sell our disc as it is not possible, or lend them out to everyone with the same system, as we will not be held liable for the stupid actions of some. All disc are sent priority worldwide, cost is US$125.00 See photos of the install to confirm. Models available as follows; each require a different disc. IVA-W200 IVA-D310 IVA-D100 DVA-9860 DVA-9861 DVA-9965 DVE-5207 PKG-2000P PKG-RSE2 Thanks 355EVO

it may be either the accessory wire or the illumination wire, as both need to be connected and powered for the HU to work. How did you lose power to it?? |

sounds like a fuse. You may need to rest the unit itself... though you need to determine if you have power at the fuse on the HU coming into the fuse and then check to the HU on the HU side.... Will need a test light or volt meter |

How does it trip the fuse?? Does it power up etc. Sound like it may be a loose ribbon inside the unit, a short in your wiring harness, or a dry solder joint. All are typical of Alpine on most of there units, you only have to look at how many people have a drama with the CDs not coming out of the CDA-9855 and all of the 98 series HUs. Nice to see that they can trade off the name they had, and not the quality of crap they now produce. |
