Basically: It's a removable hard drive. You hook it up to the computer via included docking station and transfer your songs to the hard drive. The hard drive is then removed and plugged into that amplifier-looking thing. The amplifier-looking thing is controlled by a Palm Pilot (PDA), so that's probably the biggest disadvantage of that system. The output of the amplifier thing can be sent via FM modulator (like an iPod), via RCA pre-out, or digital out(which is pretty nice). Overall, that thing is extremely expensive and the necessity of an expensive PDA for it to work is just useless(not to mention the hassle of using the PDA). |
