im having trouble removing my stock radio from my 1992 ford thunderbird, if you have any ideas or u know how to take it out please let me know

Ford head units will have two holes on either side that you can stick a coat hanger in, bend out, and slide the head unit out (a trick is to also use two flathead screwdrivers that slip between the side of the unit).

Also, the keys to remove it are ~$15 from Walmart, a Ford dealership, or ebay.

need wiring diagram for 1992 Ford Explorer stereo system. Mine was stolen, all wires were cut, am replacing with Audiovox Rampage ACD-83, can anyone help?

I take it you are getting rid of the car soon, Roger? That head unit won't last more than six months. Most die within two months-specifically the CD mech, and at that point it isn't repairable because low-end brands like that don't sell parts, you're expected to throw it away.

i got mine out with a screw driver and some plyers, not exatly profesional but i was pissed at it ;) at one point it caught on fire! dont think thats good but hey i got it out
