170 is a number that is toooooo high of a mark. no1 on this forum can hit 170's, even with all of the great box builders and the people who buy good quality equipment. get a couple memphis Mojo's 15" with a good amp, and it will be pretty loud. look at some DD, Treo, MMats, etc. a more reasonable goal would be 150 |

Tyler if i were you i wouldn't get that sub, cuz you're going to need too many things just to hear it hehehe... if you want, you can do chauncey's old setup... four 15s with 4 1200w rms+ amps, hitting the sh1t out of those subs and you'll be happy if you don't care about SQ hehehe |

yeah, that's a good/kinda cheap SPL system, you get 3 more 15 l7, get 2 PA a3000db, 2 subs per amp wired at 1 ohm... good electrical upgrade, and earplugs |

since it puts out around 2500 to 2700 rms watts you think i should adjust the amp level and all that so it wont blow the subs so u think i should go with 300 amp alt |

if you think you can control the power the amp puts out by the gain on the amp your wrong. if thats what you mean. and yeah a 300a alt. would be good. |

never used the amp so can't comment on that. i'd get a alt. from iraggi or excessive, yellow top battery, and do the big 3 and you should be good to go. |

if i figured it right, i think for 2000wrms you'll need 200a for the system, that's without the power you'll need for your car. i'd go 250a smallest, but if you have it get the biggest alt. you can. i could be wrong on that though. link on charging systems: http://wickedcases.com/caraudio/charging.html |
