Ive got a subsonic filter switch on my kicker 1200 but i dont know what exactly it does. Does it make it sound different or does it just protect the system and will it be as loud with it on or does that not matter?

set it to what your ported box is tuned to :-) thats all, if you dont have a ported box, turn it off
