If your running a 2 amp system, one amp for the 2 subs and 1 amp for your speakers....do rcas need to be connected directly from amp to amp? |

is this what a crossover is for? i place the crossover after the headunit and before the amps, and the crossover splits them? |

Daisy chaining the amps? I would only do it if the head unit doesn't have seperate pre-outs for the sub and fronts/rears. |

actually not a head unit, its gonna be a hi-lo....so does that mean i have to "daisy chain" the amps? |

the Hi-lo is actually an LC6 though, it has different outputs for front rear and sub |

Yeah, use the outputs for the front and sub. If you want to daisy chain the amps, try it and see if you like it better. |
