im new to car audio so sorry if these questions suck but im gettin a jl w6 and a 500/1 jl amp and putting the sub in one of those jl HO boxes. im also lookin for a new headunit and 4 speakers, 2 5 1/4 and 2 6 1/2. any suggestions on cheap but quality speakers or headunits. doesnt have to be realy cheap, maybe $200 for each set of speakers, and another $200 for a headunit. thanks for any help you can give me

What kind of car are they going in? Unless you really really want rear fill, I (and a lot more people more knowledgeable than me) would suggest you at least consider dropping the idea of the two sets, and instead forking out for a really nice set of front components.

Infinity makes a nice speaker, but make sure you get out and listen to them if you can since they tend to be very "bright" and most people love them or hate them. I personally run Polk DB 5250 5 1/4 components, but I also like the sound of Boston Acoustic as well. The most important thing in buying speakers is to get out and take a listen to as many as you can since everyone likes different things.

As far as a deck under $200, you may want to look into the Pioneer Premier deh-p480mp or deh-p580mp. Here are some other options. You can get all of those decks for cheaper if you look elsewhere.
