I have finally decided all the parts of my new system. I have one 12" Rockford Fosgate Power HX2(1000w RMS) http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROCRFR3112 Want to add the Rockford Fosgate 801s http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROC801S With this box http://www.mainstreet-audio.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code= ZV112-2030&Category_Code=ENC12type3 (tuned to 30hz) (not sure about the box, any suggestions feel free to elaborate on them) I think this combination would be excellent. What do you guys think? |

that amp will power the sub fine. i wouldn't get a prefab box though and i definally wouldn't pay $130 for a prefab box!! you can make one for close to $40. and you really don't have a way of telling what that box will be tuned to since its not built to spec using the sub parameters...most end up being tuned really high when you add whatever sub so you'll loose a lot of SQ. |

So you think I should get a local car audio place to build it just for my speaker because I know I cant built a good enough 1. The speaker requires at least 2.0 cu. ft of space. Thats pretty big going into the trunk of my 96 geo prizm |

a local store will prob charge you an arm and a leg too. could you do it yourself?? you'd save a ton of money that way. |
