Would love for some input and if you think the Phoenix Gold Xenon200.4 would be a good amp to power them. Any input would be helpful, thanks. |

Rainbow speakers are amazing. Focals take a lot of work, especially the tweeters, to get sounding nice. K2P's and Utopias are nice, anything lower is pretty bad, but for the money, i'd get some Rainbows. sounds all subjective though, so best thing to do is try and listen to them. usually pretty hard to do though... |

Well, that's a pretty good budget, so you could look at DLS, Morel, CDT, MBQ and many others (Rainbow's including) Yeah it would help if you could listen to a few different ones. |

MARIS!!!!!!! definitely check out as many as you can....not even the high end....just as many as you can..to find out what "kind" of sound you like more....aggresive, bright....or laid back, warm sounding speakers. most of the DLS are laid back and warm...i have heard some Focal's and they sounded very bright...also heard some Morels....veddy nice. never heard any rainbows...but Brandon loved them. so definitely find out what "kind" of sound you want and then start asking about comps with that type of sound reproduction...like on www.elitecaraudio.com LOTS of SQ pros there....they can definitely help you out. |

if i recall correctly, the K2P's came out after the Utopias and are actually better. the Utopias have been replaced with the Be.x line. |
