I purchased a set of Infinity 50.5CS components about a month ago now. I've had them installed and powered by a Magnat Scorpion 800, which I got from car audio direct.

All been working great and been very impressed so far apart from one cone started to developed a kind of rattle when turn the volume up, after a closer look I discovered a crack had developed in the cone.

I am looking in to getting this replaced although just wanted to know why this would happen. Is it a problem with the set up or could it be a weakness in the cone or something.

The Frequency Response of the amp is 5-100 000Hz and the speakers have a frequency response of (±3dB): 55Hz - 21kHz.

Any help would be grateful.
