the subs and the amps are all going in the trunk and im worried the subs might shake the amps to death cuz the build quality isnt so great i hear...maybe the autotek might be a better choice..correct me if im wrong.. |

you do realize you would be underpowering the 2 ssx's with a single mm4000d. |

Yes, but in the right box...if the subs are rated for 2500w rms and i give them each 2000w rms, i am only losing about 1 dB in sound. if they can take 4000w rms PER sub then thats a 3dB loss and i think I can deal with that. |

"MM4000 does 5krms its the same amp as the Goliath..." its not the same amp. thats why this guy i know whos competing is selling his mm4000 so that he can replace it with a goliath. people need to slow down with all these statements with no experience to back it up. but i guess thats the internet for you. |

i don't think he means they are identical amps. they are very similiar. also if you bridge the mm4000 and run it at 1 ohm it can do 5000wrms. even though it is 2ohm it won't get hot running at 1 ohm. goliath
mm4000.1

maybe cause the mm4000 isn't strappable. you can strap the goliath though. |

for 4000w amps, i look optidrive, puts 4k+ at 1 ohm, good quality and i think is strappable. Is the cheapest i've found. |
