LONG STORY SHORT: I bought a new remote and can't figure out how to program it (I don't understand the instructions on the package). I have a 99 Grand Caravan Sport with a Viper 550 ESP Alarm in it. I have one fully working remote - here's the info on the back of it:

1-800-274-0200
266 Rolling Codes
FCC ID # EZSDEI475

The front has 4 buttons (LOCK / UNLOCK / SILENT MODE / PANIC) & green LED (see attached photo). It has Remote Start (pressing LOCK & UNLOCK together).

All I want to do is program my new 4 button remote (474V) to do exactly the same things that my old one does without changing the programming on my currently fully operational remote.

BIG PROPS to skaterbum for walking me through my dilemna!!! He hooked me up with the 550 ESP Install Manual and talked me through the 30 second procedure:

(Open Driver's Door / Key to ON position / Within 5 seconds, Press Valet Program Button 8 times & hold the 9th / Press LOCK button on remote / release Valet Program Button / Remove key).

The procedure programs ALL the buttons!

SKATERBUM ROCKS!!!
