i have changed the battery in my key fob and now it wont work ? second how do i deactivate the imobiliser because i have broke the key fob trying to fix it

Hello can i master reset the alarm back to factory settings at the mo everything is on and the alarm goes off whilst driving the car....... I have a cobra 7777 on a 1997 vauxhall astra turbo diesel and i am lost!!!!!! help please.....
