I have this plug at the right rear of my 98 explorer which plugged into the amp. I have five wires running into the plug:
Light Green/Purple
Black/Light green
Red/Black
Brown/Pink
Dark Green or Turquoise/Purple
Does anybody know what each wire does? |

I am hooking up a Pioneer 3700MP in a '98 Chevy Malibu. I have it working but I don't know which wire to hook the Blue/white remote wire to on the car. I have a solid blue and an orange that are not attached to anything. Can anyone help me? |

Ok so we tried the blue/white wire in the explorer. It did not work is there another wire that could be the remote wire?

Hey guys you sound really helpful, could you possibly get me the wiring codes for a 94 Ford Probe SE if it matters it had a premuim tape deck sound system and someone cut off the end attachments so i can't get a converter plug. I'm gonna hard wire my new headunit in. thanx in advance. |

The explorer has the stock mach audio system. The receiver sends five wires to the rear of the explorer but none of them are the remote wire. |

ok on my 1989 ford taurus 3.0L V6 i have a green/yellow..yellow/black..orange/black..and a blue/red...i think i hooked it up right to my cd player but i keep blowing fuses n well i replace those and my blinkers dont work but like "everything" else works to that fuse...what do i do |

pj, unless you have a steering wheel control module, an aftermarket deck will not work with steering wheel control. |

The signal lights are the only thing that is not working-he has checked all the fuses and everything is good. How could he rig up something so he could have signal lights-since we can't figure out why they aren't working |

I'll check on the sound bar for the 2002 wrangler. I've got that working, I just have lost my dashboard lights now. Granted, I don't have the "Illumination" wire hooked up from the stereo, but I don't know where it goes to. So somewhere I'm not completing the circuit for the dashboard lights, but I need to find the wiring guide for the 02 wrangler to be sure. |

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24. I just bought a new Pioneer DEH-P6800MP CD player. I took out my old JVC one and disconnected the harness and junk, and realized they're different size harness. I have the one for the Pioneer, so I'm going to have to cut the wires and re-connect them, obviously. But there are several colors in the old batch that aren't in the new one and vice versa. Am I not going to need all of them, or what?
I'd appreciate any help I can get.  |

Hi, i need help installing a Panasonic cd player in my 1994 Ford Explorer and from the color codings on here dont match the ones in my explorer. I have the continuos power hooked up which is green with a yellow stripe, i have the ground hooked up, and i have the ignintion wire hooked up. The only problems i am having is the speakers. The only ones that seem to work at all are the rear left and the front right, no matter how i hook up the wires. These speaker wires were inside a grey rubber tubbing with tinfoil stuff wraped around them, and the colors of the wires are (white with red stripe, white with orange stripe, solid yellow, solid blue, solid green, solid purple, solid brown, and a blue with black stripe wire). I dont know why the front right and rear left are the only ones working, so i was wondering if someone could give me a color coding for this and if they know whats going on!! Thanks a ton!! |

i have a 99 chevy malibu and i recently put an aftermarket stereo in it and when i turn the car off it loses the memory to the radio stations can anyone tell me what i have done wrong and if i have wired something wrong can you tell me where to wire what? |

Anyone have wiring info for 1990 TOYOTA PICKUP??, when i bought this truck it had an older kenwood detachable faceplate casstte player...the owner had hooked it up by wiring the radio to the toyota wires itself, rather that having an adapter that hooked up to the wires into the radio. |

I have a 1999 Dodge Durango and i just bought a Panosonic CQ-C7303U head unit and i wired it up and it wont play cd's and only the radio. Is something wrong with the wiring or is the HU faulty? |

i will bet the blue and blue and white wires on =radio is reversed, you have the power antenna lead hooked up inbstead of the rmote turn on. |
