i recently jsut got a hold of dvd player and ipod.... i was wondering culd anyone gimme some ways i can hook my dvd player and ipod together so i can play music vids off ipod to dvd player then the dvd player plays the sound into my speakers... its portable dvd player has phones out co-ax out.. my hu only has 1 rca out, and my amp has a set of input and set of outputs.... thanks for any help. |

Rick, quite simple actually:
1) Set your iPod video to TV OUT
2) Take a 3.5mm AV Cable and plug it into your ipod. NOTE: The yellow red and white plugs on any 3.5mm AV cable are not the same as the ones on the Apple 3.5mm AV cable, basically, (I think) red is video and white and yellow are audio.
3)Then since you have no input on your radio, get an fm transmitter with a standard headphone plug and plug it into your dvd player and then your dvd player will play the sound through the HU's radio off of the car speakers.
This is quite a messy set-up, you should just buy a tv HU and make it nicer.... |
