hi

I need a little guidance
I intend to wire a car amp directly to a 12v battery, but not in a car.

Im not sure what to do with the ground wire since i dont have a car body to attach to, though somebody explained that i could emulate one by sandwiching aluminium and copper plates with the ground wire between.
Also, what do i do with the negative connection on the battery.

Can I connect the ground wire to the negative on the battery?

thanks
