Thread: My legacy ice 2000w amp wont turn on |

my amp was working fine then it just went out, it has a protection led on the side, when you turn it on for a split second the sub will kick on, but then the light will turn on and it wont kick on agian.like i said i had it working just fine for about a week, my power/ground/remote/speaker leads havent changed/ no faults that i can find with those. is there a why you have reset the amp? and the amp doesnt smell weird or have any broken parts inside that i can see |

take the speaker wire off, if it still does it the amp is fried. and if that amp is a 2 channel and you have it bridged lower then 4 ohms, it very well may be fried... |

yeah, i was thinking the same thing, you may be trying to run too low of an impedence, when i had my lanzar amp, it would shut down after playing for about 5 minutes because i had accidently wired my subs for a 1 ohm load and most 2 ch amps cant handle that. |

even if i un hook all speaker wire to amp it still wont come on,, so think its fried, that sucks |
