Hi, I have an Alpine 9835 head unit with an Alpine PDX4.150 amp and Boston FS60 component speakers in the front, Boston NX97 speakers in the rear and JL W3 10" sub. The amp works on the front component speakers and on the sub (2 channels bridged) and the back Boston speakers get amped by the head unit itself (and I put the setting so that I primarily hear the front speakers and the sub). I have a friend who hates the way that my treble sounds -- he thinks it sounds blurred.
1) can anyone suggest equalizer settings that they like for the 5 equalizer channels in the Alpine? I am interested in trying combinations but if someone has some equalizer settings already made, I would appreciate hearing about them.
2) could this be because of myh speakers -- and if so, can someone suggest other component speakers (that are not horribly expensive) for the front?
Thanks :-)
