i have a jl audio amp 40 amp fuse, and orion 2150sx amp 60 amp fuse. could anyone tell me if i should use a 100 amp inline fuse or can i go less? also, should i use 4 ga or 2 ga power wire? thanks for any help.

I wouldnt think you need a 100watt fuse for each. I would go 60watt fuses all the way around (someone correct me if i am wrong). 4 gauge wire is fine. 2 gauge is not nessasary.

use a 100A in-line fuse at the battery, and 4AWG is goot for up to 120A or so, so it's a clsoe call but 4AWG should be alright.

that 2150SX is a sweet amp :-)
