http://electronixwarehouse.com/car/sgl-prod/amps/lanzar/vibe218.htm Thats the amp i have, a Lanzar #VIBE218 400 Watt 2 Channel Amp. I'm having difficulty with the protection light. When i power up the amp the light goes on and then will not power the sub. What could be wrong? |

you either have the subs wired incorrectly presenting too low of a load, you have a short somewhere (read wiring problem) or the amp is defective.

also, just for kicks, make sure the ground point is solid, and to sanded bare metal, and double check that the gains aren't set too high

Here is my problem...i'm pretty good with electronics but this one has stumped me. I have a big stereo system. I'm driving down the road and my protection light kicks on (diagnostic light). Now, everytime I turn the music up loud the bass shuts off. Any suggestions?!? |
